FIFTY IS THE NEW FORTY- Did you ever here someone say that or that forty is the new thirty??
Well, the good news is that also works on the scales these days!!?
If you step on the scales and lets say you weigh 250lbs. , that is the new 200 lbs, (:>), oh yea!!
or another example say in my case , I weigh 190 now, that is the new 140 lbs. , LOL !! oh yea!! that means I am lighter than when I was in high school, ha,ha.
But seriously, my current weight used to be obese 30 years ago, but today I fit in to the normal size person walking down the street. So that is a good feeling on this Monday morning to keep me thinking positive, ha,ha.
Deb and I did make healthier choices this weekend and did a good job counting calories the last two days and we are doing great today. We just got to get back on track because of our high blood pressure. Everytime we eat good and lose weight, our blood pressure drops over 10 numbers. So it really does make a difference.
BUCYRUS-ERIE 1950B- Silver Spade – I got a E-mail and a few Silver Spade pictures from Ed at Bucyrus-Erie. He said he wants me to keep him updated on the Spade building progress and he will show everyone the progress at Bucyrus-Erie . So that is pretty cool knowing the people who built the first real Silver Spade will be watching me build the second Silver Spade, (:>).
This week I will finish the top boom details and then begin cutting out 600 or more steps that will go the full length of the boom on both sides and the top of the boom on both sides along with railings on both sides of all the steps. So that will be quite a project in itself.
SNOW ????- The next snowstorm is going south of us and it’s been a week and a half since I plowed last. We still got tons of snow and ice with no days over 32 degrees.
