THE SILVER SPADE HAS LEFT THE BUILDING – The Silver Spade model is now on it’s final part of the journey to Denver, Colo. where it will be displayed in one of the rarest toy collections in the world. Kevin laughed and said his collection could almost be called the Really Big Iron Museum, ha,ha. Kevin said he now has over 15 one of a kind models of the largest all steel static models ever built. This picture shows us getting ready to raise the boom on the Spade and start connecting the 16 steel cables. Deb made a smilebox with 15 or so pictures of the journey from Gaylord to inside the Adams Mark Hotel with the Silver Spade Model.

THIRTY NINE DEGREES THIS MORNING – It is feeling like fall this morning in Northern Michigan .
CLEANING UP THE MOTORHOME – Deb and I been cleaning out the motorhome and I been busy washing it getting it ready to put away into storage . We only used it two times this year becuase of the high gas prices, but it was still great fun. I’m hoping by next year we will be able to buy a wind powered convertor for it and it will have a large propeller on top of it that generates it’s own power and store it in batteries and it will need no more gas stations. (:>). ha,ha.
MCDONALDS !!!!!- Deb and I stopped at a McDonalds to get a burger and fries and it was five minutes to 11:00. We asked for a burger and they said no burgers for five more minutes. So we stood back and waited. At one minute to eleven we got in line and they said no burgers yet. A large crowd was now waiting for burgers with one minute to go , as they kept yelling not yet !!, we all kind of chuckled , finally at 11:01 we got the ok for burgers. As we heard the frozen patties hitting the grill like hockey pucks and the first basket of fries hit the hot grease, I heard the person beside us ask for a egg mc muffin. They said NO ! , only burgers !! It was a funny little memory we had even at McDonalds. So much stress even flippin burgers, ha,ha.
DART TRUCK – This week I will get back to working on the Dart Coal Hauler . And we will start counting the days to our fall trip to Washington D.C.
NICOLE AND BILL’S TRIP TO ITALY- Nicole and Bill are excited to travel to Italy for three weeks . There next trip they want to go on will be to Alaska.
