Big Stone Gap Va. – Although I don’t collect toys , I certainly do collect machinery books . This picture shows me standing next to TWO very loyal webpage fans of mine , Ron and John. John from Va. and Ron from W. Va. They both said they enjoy visiting my webpage on a regular basis and enjoy my model building progress pictures and the personal side of the webpage too.
Last time we bought books from them at the show , Ron was the one who gave me the best deal. But this time I definately got the best deal from John. So I guess I better be very nice to both of them from now on and not just to Ron, ha,ha, ha, just kidding ! They are both very nice people and we always enjoy visiting with them .
We also ate supper with them Thurs. night and that was a lot of fun.
PHONE CALL FROM DENVER – Kevin called last night and said Mike and him made it back to Denver safe and sound with the Silver Spade intact He just said the gantry was covered with bugs from the trip , but everything went well.
MOTORHOME STORAGE – We got the motorhome all cleaned and ready for storage for the winter. We will not use it over Labor Day . We will still drive it around our area a couple more times this fall to keep the fluids moving before we tuck it away for the winter.
DART COAL HAULER – I will get the tractor pretty much all roughed in today and tomorrow I will get going on cutting out the first parts for the large bottom dump trailer.
FOUR SHEETS OF STEEL – Yesterday I called in the order for four sheets of 10′x 8′ 18ga. sheet metal . As soon as it comes in I will go get it sheared up.
GAYLORD GAS PRICES – Today our gas is $3.89 a gallon for unleaded reg. Sure beats that $4.45 a gallon we were seeing .
