PINT SIZED ARTICULATING TRACTOR , HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE !!!!!

December 31, 2008

Micro Mini Articulating Tractor – Now this is what you call a baby tractor , ha,ha. It’s hard to believe a company would make such a small four wheel drive articulating tractor. It looks like it has all the stuff needed for a good days work, ha,ha. Very CUTE !!
NEW SNOWMOBILE BATTERY – After trying to charge up the battery in my Ski-doo last week with no luck, I went and bought a new battery yesterday . The old Ski-Doo fired right up !! So today I am going to go out for the first time and check out the trails.
NICOLE AND BILL BACK TO WORK – Nicole and Bill made it home safe yesterday and today they are both at work again probably thinking about going out to party tonight , ha,ha.
Deb and I aren’t the party animals we used to be , LOL
105 INCHES OF SNOW – The Gaylord Harold Times Newspaper showed today we have now recieved a total of 105 inches of snow this winter in Otsego County .
It is snowing again today . (:>).
DEB’S VACATION TIME- Deb and I had a family meeting this morning and we decided I will take the rest of this week off too from working in the shop and have fun with Deb. We figured all the snowplowing days I got up Sat. and Sundays all this month that I earned it, (:>).
So we are thinking of starting the New Years Eve Party early today , LOL
Thanks again for all the nice E-mails this year from all over the world and most of all thanks for making it possible this year to hit
one million visitors to my daily blog. (:>) That is still very exciting to me to know I hit one million visitors !!!
I will continue in 2009 to share our little adventures and my toy building hobby with everyone.
WE HOPE YOU ALL HAVE A SAFE AND HAPPY NEW YEAR !!!!!!

Don Campbell plows snow 15 days in Dec. , Nicole and Bill back to Va. and no snow and loving it.

TWENTY FIVE INCHES OF SNOW FOR NICOLE AND BILL – In the few days Bill and Nicole were home in Gaylord we got 25 inches of new snow. So you can imagine they won’t be missing it , ha,ha.
This Sat. Bill said he will back sitting in his deer stand in Va. deer hunting again trying to refill his freezer after bringing home fifty lbs. of venison to his family.
We had another great Christmas with Nicole and Bill .
Too bad I was sick almost everyday they were home.
Thanks again you guys for a another wonderful Christmas and some great presents !!
FIFTEENTH TIME PLOWING SNOW TODAY – Here is a picture Nicole took of me a couple days ago as I backed into the rear shed to put the tractor away after plowing the 14th time. This morning I plowed another 3 inches with some drifting overnight.
My snowplow customers aren’t going to be very happy when they get this upcoming snowplowing bill later this week ? And I guess I can’t blame them either ! They may want to go invest in their own snowblowers, ha,ha. Last year we only had about 60 inches of snow at this time.
DEB’S SECOND WEEK OFF – It’s hard for me to work in the shop after I plow snow, and especially knowing Deb has another day off, ha,ha. So we might just goof off this afternoon .
MINI-LOADERS AND DUMPERS- I been recently looking at old used mini loaders and old mini articulating dumpers . I thought if I could get either one at a reasonable price, I would have both axles, the dirve train and a mini power plant . Also the articulating steering system parts. Then I could dismantle it and build a half scale four wheel drive articulating John Deere or Case-IH tractor . I would have to still buy 8 nice new tires and rims for it too. One of these days the right machine is going to come along for the right price and I am going to buy it and build my own half scale articulating tractor I can drive and play in the dirt and snow with.
If you have one sitting in your backyard , let me know ? (:>).
Have a great Tues. and a Happy New Year

MONSTER JAM 4 WHEELER , GRAVE DIGGER ATV .

December 29, 2008

MONSTER TRUCKS – I love watching Monster Jam on TV and the pre-schoolers Deb watches are even hooked on Monster Jam . They love Max-D, the Gravedigger , Monster Mutt, Batman, etc., etc.
Yesterday on the net I spotted this totally awesome jacked up 4 wheeler with monster tires and I loved it. Now this is what I am talking about , LOL !! I love it !!
SUNDAY FOOTBALL – The end of the season for the Packers, the Jets, and I think the Detroit Lions, ha,ha. The positive side is next year they will have plenty of room for improvement. Brette Favre will now have to decide again about retirement.
RAIN TO SNOW to more ice- Climate change is even effecting Northern Michigan as it rained and rained and rained and then turned to snow and ice. We even got a little thunder. With 50+ mph winds we were lucky we did not lose our electricity . Many surrounding counties did lose their power.
ANOTHER WEEKS VACATION – Deb has another week of relaxing with the kids gone until next Monday .
ATLANTIC CITY – We had another great Christmas with Nicole and Bill and we are looking forward now to our spring visit to D.C. We will be heading to Atlantic City to stay at Caesars Palace and walk the boardwalk and take in all the sights. Just looking forward to that vacation will get us through the rest of the winter just fine.
NEW YEARS DIET- After trying so many times to diet the day after New Years, we decided this year not to make no big promises we can’t keep. So instead we are just going to start monitoring our food intake the day after New Years 100%. Not even limiting the number of calories, just writing Everything down . Just doing that will help us to cut our daily calories in half. And that is a great way to start.
Have a great Monday

DETROIT LIONS AND THE GREEN BAY PACKERS

December 28, 2008

DETROIT LIONS – Win, Win ! The Lions can’t really lose today as if they win, they will be estatic !, if they lose, they will make history in a perfect losing season?
It’s looking like the Packers are already in control in just the first few minutes.
ILLNESS UPDATE- Finally today I feel better , yippee !!
It’s rare I am sick a whole week
We got 3 more inches of wet snow today so we are over 100 inches now.
FARM SHOW MAGAZINE- I always loved the Farm Show Magazine. Several of my handbuilt projects were featured several years ago and I got free issues for a couple years.
I had Deb renew Farm Show a month ago and I forgot how much I liked all the cool ideas. This week I just had Deb order the ( hand built tractors) issue. This time of year I really think a lot about building my first real 1/2 scale 4 wheel drive articulating tractor or a half scale Cat machine. That is still my one passion to build at least one in the years ahead.
HAVE A GREAT SUNDAY
