About My Models

I like to remind everyone that none of my models are perfect. I build models as fun hobby and not as a expert. I have no building secrets and I am always glad to share how I do things with others starting out building toys. I know of very few people who share their building models piece by piece like I do. I have no idea how the model will end up looking when it is completed. If the final model resembles the real machine , I am happy. But I don’t expect them to be exact or even close to exact. If you see something doesn’t look right just remember I am not a engineer , I have no blueprints and in many cases no measurements at all. My tools are crude, I don’t have a lathe or a milling machine or a lazer cutter, my workshop is the size of most peoples bathrooms. I have built models with as little as two pictures and nothing else. I have never seen most of these machines in person. My webpage is work to keep it updated each day , and I will continue to share my models with everyone, just reminding everyone I build models for fun , I am no expert at it.

NEW VISITORS TO MY WEBSITE- Each week I get a few new first time visitors to my website and I want to say thank you. Each day I post a new picture on the opening page. Be sure to visit often to watch my latest models being built. CHRISTIAN – I am proud to be a Christian, and on Sundays I try to post a short Christian message to share with my regular visitors on my webpage . I have been a believer all my life, I never drank, or took drugs, or cheated on Deb , or robbed a bank or killed anyone . I still struggle everyday to be a better follower Of Christ. I have many non-Christian friends who I think the world of and trust as much as my Christian friends. I will continue to be their friends too and hopefully be a little light for some of you . The good Lord gave me a gift to build models and it has opened a door that is reaching around the world . In return I am sharing a little bit of his word to all of you who visit my webpage on a regular basis.

When I started building farm toys several years ago I never thought it would lead me to also building toy trucks and construction toys. Toy Farmer magazine was where I first saw hand built farm toys. Toy Trucker magazine is where I saw the first hand built toy trucks and construction equipment toys. The Ertl Co. makes hundreds of all kinds of toys. Although I am not a toy collector, every Christmas I do get one or two toy tractors or toy dozers . And I do enjoy getting them. Christmas time is for kids, but we all still have a kid inside of us. (:>)

METAL ART- I never considered myself as a artist. But I am no engineer either. My models are closer to metal art. I look at a few pictures as guidelines, but because I use no measurements on most of my metal creations, I must have some artistic ability. As I cut out more and more pieces of steel and weld them together the piece of art starts to take shape.
